Carnetto - Privacy Policy

Carnetto is a Chrome extension developed by Aaropi (sole proprietorship, the Netherlands). This page explains which data we process and why.

What data do we process?

Carnetto does not process personal data on our servers. The extension works locally in your browser. The only external request the extension makes is a public API call to the RDW Open Data portal (overheid.nl) based on the number plate visible on an advertisement page. We do not store that number plate.

If you purchase a paid subscription through ExtensionPay, your payment details are processed by Stripe. We only receive an anonymous confirmation that you have an active subscription. See Stripe's privacy policyfor more information.

Local storage

The extension stores the following preferences in your browser (via chrome.storage.local):

• selected province
• estimated annual mileage
• number of free lookups used today

This data never leaves your device.

Cookies

Carnetto does not use cookies.
